You tell us what to change, and we change it. In many cases you can wear a trial version for a few days before anything permanent happens.
Once you approve the design, we sequence treatment. Whitening usually comes first, since porcelain and composite are matched to the shade of the teeth around them and won't lighten later. Gum work comes before veneers. Bite corrections come before restorations. Depending on the case, the whole thing runs anywhere from a few weeks to several months. We check in during healing and adjust as we go.

How long does the whole thing take?

Anywhere from a few weeks to several months, depending on what's involved. Whitening and bonding move fast. Veneers, gum healing, and any orthodontic movement add time. We give you a sequence and rough timeline at the planning visit so you know what you're committing to.
How long do the results last?

Porcelain veneers and crowns commonly last 10 to 20 years with good care. Composite bonding runs closer to 5 to 10. Whitening fades and gets touched up. Grinding at night is the biggest threat to any of it, so if you grind we'll plan for a night guard as part of the case.
Will insurance pay for any of it?

Sometimes, in part. Work done for a cracked, decayed, or failing tooth is often partly covered even when it also improves how the smile looks. Purely cosmetic work generally isn't.
