INSPIRED TO FOLLOW IN HER FATHER’S FOOTSTEPS AS A DENTIST, DR. GRAHAM WANTED TO IMPACT PEOPLES LIVES IN A MEANINGFUL WAY. AFTER GRADUATING FROM ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY WITH HER BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN SPANISH, AND A MINOR AND PREMED SCIENCES, SHE WENT ONTO COMPLETE HER DOCTOR OF DENTAL SURGERY DEGREE AT MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY.
MOTIVATED BY CHANGING LIVES THROUGH FUNCTIONAL DENTISTRY, DR. GRAHAM IS PASSIONATE ABOUT HELPING HER PATIENTS FEEL BETTER, LOOK BETTER, AND BE BETTER. SHE ALSO LOVES TO GET TO KNOW THOSE SHE SERVES. “ I LEARNED SOMETHING FROM EACH PATIENT THAT I HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF TREATING; DIFFERENT LIFE PERSPECTIVES HELP ME GROW, NOT ONLY AS A DENTIST BUT AS A PERSON.”
DR. GRAHAM LOVES GROWING, LEARNING AND ENGAGING IN CONTINUING EDUCATION WHEREVER AND WHENEVER POSSIBLE. NOT ONLY DOES SHE ATTEND, BUT ALSO EDUCATES THE COMMUNITY AND HER COLLEAGUES. SHE BELIEVES HER PATIENTS DESERVE THE MOST MODERN AND EFFECTIVE TREATMENTS AND TECHNOLOGIES AVAILABLE. TO ENSURE THAT SHE’S ON THE LEADING EDGE, SHE IS A MEMBER OF THE ESTEEMED KOIS CENTER; GLOBAL DIAGNOSIS EDUCATION, THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF COSMETIC DENTISTRY. SHE SERVES AS AN AFFILIATE FACULTY MEMBER AT THE BREATHE INSTITUTE AND VISITING FACULTY AT SPEAR EDUCATION. SHE WAS A FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE AAPMD’S ENDEAVOR. SHE IS AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT WITH ASAP: AIRWAY SLEEP & PEDIATRIC PATHWAY AS WELL AS A MEMBER OF THE IATP (INTERNATIONAL AFFILIATION OF TONGUE TIE PROFESSIONALS) AND THE AMERICAN LASERS STUDY CLUB.
DR. GRAHAM ALSO ENJOYS DONATING DENTAL SERVICES TO THE UNDERSERVE BOTH LOCALLY AND OVERSEAS.
BEYOND THE OFFICE, SHE LOVES YOGA, HIKING, MOSS (SERIOUSLY, ODD OBSESSION!), READING, EXPLORING THE VARIOUS OUTDOOR DELIGHTS OF MILWAUKEE AND TRAVELING. SHE’S HAPPILY MARRIED TO A “BIG BEARDED MAN, WHO MAKES HER LAUGH EVERY DAY“ AND ADORES “BEING MAMA TO PENELOPE, ADA, VERA, DIAPER DOGS- STEVE AND LAURA, AND BENGAL KITTIES- JACOB AND EJ.” HER FAMILY ALSO HAS A PET SCORPION! Dr. Messerschmidt originally came to Milwaukee to begin her first career as a kindergarten teacher. After teaching for six years in Wisconsin and North Carolina she decided to pursue dentistry because it combines her love for people, art and science. She continues to be so grateful for the skills she learned as a teacher and is a firm believer in educating patients so they understand the “why” behind their dental treatment. Dr. Messerschmidt pursued her dental education at Marquette University and has been practicing as a general dentist in the greater Milwaukee area. She maintains memberships with the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association. She is committed to lifelong learning and regularly seeks out continuing education courses in order to best treat her patients.
When she isn’t at the office you’ll likely find Dr. Messerschmidt with her sixteen month old daughter, Evelyn, and husband, Brian. Chasing after Evie, renovating their bungalow and checking hikes off of “Wisconsin’s 50 Best Hikes” keep her busy!

Motivated by changing lives through FUNCTIONAL dentistry, Dr. Graham is passionate about helping her patients feel better, look better, and be better. She also loves to get to know those she serves, “I learn something from each patient I treat; different life perspectives help me grow, not only as a dentist, but as a person as well.”
Dr. Graham loves growing, learning, and engaging Continuing Education whenever and whenever possible. She believes her patients deserve the most modern and effective treatments and technologies available. To ensure she’s on the leading edge, she’s dedicated to Spear and Kois advanced learning centers, the Milwaukee Study Club, the American Association for Cosmetic Dentistry, and she serves as an affiliate faculty member at The Breathe Institute. Dr. Graham also enjoys providing free dental services with the underserved both locally and overseas.
Beyond the office, she enjoys training for triathlons, traveling, hiking, moss (seriously odd obsession), reading, exploring the various culinary delights of the city, attending summer festivals, and cheering on the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers. She’s happily married to a “big-bearded man who makes her laugh every day” and loves being “Mama to Penelope (3), Ada (1), and to the diaper dogs, Steve and Laura.” Absolutely immersed in mamahood and dentistry, she welcomes the beautiful and chaotic blend that makes her life an unforgettable journey.
